RIO DE JANIERO, Brazil – March 31, 2016 – Argus will be the new way for loved ones to be closer to their elderly family members. This is a smart band that can monitor vital signs and detect falls efficiently. Users get real-time updates from the band, which is positioned on the arm. This information is accessible through the app and website. There will also be an emergency call center alert in place to assist the elder in case an emergency happens, and the family member is not there to help!
However, a project this large needs assistance from the community. The creators launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise $40,000 for the project. Funds received will build the prototype and find investors to commercialize the product for every elderly to use.
Argus will have the ability to track the state of health of the wearer so that loved ones can keep on eye on their elderly family member. People can have peace of mind knowing that their grandparents, parents, or elder family friends are safe. If a critical situation were to occur, the device would implement fast-acting solutions to help the wearer as much as possible. The Argus would alert primary family members and medical professionals immediately because in an emergency every second counts!
Click here to make a contribution. Backers can choose from a number of attractive rewards. Perks will be delivered by June 2016.
This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special project! Help the campaign reach its goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
