Chuck Boyce, Chief Publisher confirmed they have officially launched a search for Telephone Answering Service (TAS) owners, to be featured in the upcoming book, “Caring For the Caller”.
Explaining the search process, Boyce said, “This is an important book for us, so we’ll be reaching out to a select group of TAS owners we feel are true educators and advocates for the success of small business and medical practices in the US and Canada, while at the same time committing to spread the word about a great organization like the Maryann Wetmore Leadership Foundation.”
Dayett has pledged 100% of the royalties from the retail sales of the book to be donated to the Maryann Wetmore Leadership Foundation.
Scheduled for a June release, “Caring For the Caller” will spotlight each of the telephone answering services selected from this search, sharing their insights and real world experience on providing top-notch customer service to their callers.
Boyce said, “This book isn’t just about customer service. The services we select are passionate about helping callers during some of the most trying times. They will share stories of agent touching people’s lives in a caring and compassionate manner. They will bust the myths and misconceptions so many people have about telephone operators and agents.
With several industry leaders expressing interest in participating, Dayett is expected to make an announcement revealing the final selections by April 18th.
However, Boyce asserted, “One of the reasons we launched this search is because we didn’t want to go the route of filling this book with the stereotypical ‘Experts.’ This search would be unnecessary if that was the case.
“We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both the Maryann Wetmore Leadership Foundation and the people we select to feature in the book, so we really want to showcase those telephone answering service agents who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share that experience to benefit a great cause and the success of small business and medical practices. That’s what will make this a win, win win project.”
