The new film from the veteran filmmaking team of Kirk Knapp, Tyler Knapp and Zack Pratt entitled “One Track Mind” is a shocking thriller that offers a fresh take on the psychotic boyfriend subgenre. The protagonist of the film, Layla finds the perfect man, Brandon online and starts a heated affair. Although Brandon appears to possess the intelligence, sensitivity and charm that Layla is seeking, Brandon is also hiding a dark secret.
“One Track Mind” is the first feature film from the Big Block Productions, the company that produced film festival darlings “Not Without My Guitar,” “Last Call” and “Abstract.” “One Track Mind” will be shot in Ottawa later this year. An entirely Canadian production, this new film will feature the acting talents of Anne-Carolyne Binette, Mat James and Samuel Ingram Gillmore. Kirk Knapp wrote, produced and directed the film, while Tyler Knapp produced and Zack Pratt served as producer, production manager and camera operator.
“One Track Mind” is the most ambitious project to date for Big Block Productions. To help make the film the success it deserves to be, the production team is asking the public to help support them.
