BINGHAMTON, New York – April 11, 2016 – The AI Playmate concept combines entertainment with early education for children. It uses non-artificial interactive toys that can chat with kids to become wise confidantes as they grow up. Not only will this toy become a child’s most trusted companion, but it will also enhance their ability to learn and understand the world around them. To bring this technology to the masses, the creators, Ecard Systems, launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $30,000 by May 6, 2016. Funds received will develop the website, produce the technology, and make it available for distribution.
Here’s how it works:
Parents lend their own modified voices to toys, objects, and video characters. The aiChatSpot is placed in these objects with a See-Net that allows the parents to see what the child is doing anywhere, anytime. The child interacts and plays with the AI Playmate. They’ll experience high-quality conversations with a real person through a wireless speaker inside the object. Every conversation with the AI will instill valuable wisdom as they continue to enjoy life. They can talk about fun topics like Disneyland or inquire about how clouds are formed. The AI will interact with the child and be there for them in a unique way.
