Bill Kopatich, President of Nations Media Group, confirmed they have officially launched an area-wide search for business owners, professionals and community leaders to be featured in the upcoming book, “Carolina Trendsetters.”
Explaining the project, Kopatich said, “This is an important book for us, so we’ll be reaching out to a select group of local business owners, professionals and community leaders that we feel are true educators and advocates for the success of their clients in the greater Charlotte community, while at the same time committing to spread the word about a great organization like Veterans Path Up.”
Nations Media Group has pledged 100% of the royalties from the retail sales of the book to be donated to Veterans Path Up.
Scheduled for a summer release, “Carolina Trendsetters” will include chapters contributed by local business owners, professionals and community leaders selected from this search, sharing their insights and real world experience helping their clients.
With several local leaders expressing interest in participating, Nations Media Group is expected to make an announcement revealing the final author selections by May 16, 2016.
Kopatich continued, “We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both Veterans Path Up and the people we select to include in the book, so we really want to showcase those business owners, professionals and community leaders who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share that experience and to benefit a great cause.”
Rod Potter, Charlotte-based LinkedIn lead generation strategist and one of the selected authors of the book said, “My chapter will be covering some innovations to use LinkedIn to improve business and professional lead generation results.” He continued, “I’m revealing some strategies on how to keep up with LinkedIn’s ever-changing platform to help readers stay ahead of the curve.”
Ken Lacy, Executive Director of Veterans Path Up, elaborated on the mission of the organization, “Veterans Path Up is a Veteran run non-profit which provides affordable housing to veterans with a path to home ownership.” Lacy continued, “Our philosophy is to help honorably discharged veterans with a hand-up as opposed to a hand-out. This is accomplished through education about available support where we place veterans in affordable housing with the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency, and getting on the path to success.”
