“Our search system can help give any visitor to Las Vegas peace of mind,” said Vanessa Hernandez, a Vehicle History spokeswoman. “If someone is worried that they might have an outstanding ticket, all they need to do is go to our site, enter their information, and get the results. Then if there is a Las Vegas traffic ticket on their record, they can then find out how to settle it so it doesn’t end up making their life miserable.”

Vehicle History, a company that was founded to help people navigate the used car market, will now let people check to see if they have any outstanding traffic tickets in Las Vegas.

“They say that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” said Vanessa Hernandez, a Vehicle History spokeswoman. “But that doesn’t mean that a driver can just ignore any traffic or parking tickets they may get while they are visiting. If a person doesn’t pay them, they will issue a bench warrant and that person will be arrested the next time they are pulled over, even in their home state.”

Many tourists don’t realize they have outstanding traffic tickets after a Las Vegas vacation. Also, people often forget about traffic or parking tickets while they are in Vegas, because they are in a holiday mood, she said. Beyond that, many people believe that they only have to pay the tickets if they live in Nevada.

“Our search system can help give any visitor to Las Vegas peace of mind,” she said. “If someone is worried that they might have an outstanding ticket, all they need to do is go to our site, enter their information, and get the results. Then if there is a Las Vegas traffic ticket on their record, they can then find out how to settle it so it doesn’t end up making their life miserable.”

There will be no charge for the Las Vegas traffic ticket check service, she said.

“We live here so we see it all the time, and we just want to help visitors,” she said. “Outstanding Las Vegas traffic tickets are a very common problem. If we can help keep our customers out of jail because of them, that’s good for them, and good for us as well.”

The search system is based on public information related to driving records provided by state agencies and other organizations, she said.

“This is data that we can will send right to the user’s laptop, desktop or mobile device in a matter of minutes,” she said. “That way, they have all the information they need to contact authorities and have it settled.”
