Brazil is thrilled to be the home of one of the most exciting new theatrical groups in the world, Circuito BroadUai. With its exhilarating musicals performed by world class singers and actors, Circuito BroadUai has been heralded as one of the country’s most important cultural additions in years. Circuito BroadUai has won critical and fan approval for its Broadway style productions which include lavish sets and costumes as well as high energy performances that celebrate Brazil’s rich cultural heritage.
Since its creation in 2014 under the direction of Daniel Kostas and Dilson Mayron, Circuito BroadUai has been a pioneer in bringing high class theater to audiences in Recife and Belo Horizonte and it’s about to start a new chapter in Sao Paulo, the biggest city in Brazil and one of the world’s most important centers for musical theatre productions. Drawing on the talents of some of Brazil’s most acclaimed performers like Thiago Jansen, Vania Pajares and Alberto Venceslau, Circuito BroadUai has successfully put on shows like “Chico Xavier – No Ceu da Vibracao” and “Cidade dos Sonhos – Um musical natalino”.
Over the next two years, Circuito BroadUai will tour the country performing more than 50 shows and other artistic events in fashion design, gastronomy, music, theatre, dance, photography and movie documentaries. Three new musical theatre productions will open in the 2016/2017 season including the jukebox sensation “Romeo and Juliet – A love by Beatles”, which is a new version of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy that includes some of the most famous songs of the Liverpool Quartet.
