“It not only captures the harrowing realities of modern America but also serves as a beacon of awareness showing that there are still artists creating music with a message.” – Huffington Post
Following a revolutionary 360° video shoot the live footage of Tomás Doncker’s ‘Some Ol’ Dolls’ is the first track to be featured on the highly influential Youtube channel.

I.M.P Music PR today announced the beginning of a series of Google features on Youtube’s official 360° channel of the intense new footage of Tomás Doncker and his True Groove All Stars performing The Mess We Made. Examiner says of Donckers dynamic new record, “It’ll get you moving even though it deals with serious topics like racial injustice.” His previous record, Big Apple Blues, a collaboration with Pulitzer Prize Winner Youseff Komunyakaa, was called “an eloquent slow burner that warms the listener to the Doncker vibe, welcoming her into the fervid blues he reserves for New York City.” while All About Jazz credits him with “channeling classic rockers like Hendrix.”

The 360° footage was filmed by Albert Leusink of 360° Performances, and will soon feature revolutionary 360° audio. The video was shot in front of a live studio audience who can be seen dancing in the background of the video clip. With a video being released every week via True Groove’s various social media channels the label seeks to be able to give their global audience a very intimate look at what it means to attend a Tomás Doncker performance.

In the midst of what may very well be the busiest period of Doncker’s career he and his True Groove All Stars, featuring iconic musicians such as Mac Gollehon, Marla Mase and Joshua Barret, are more focused than ever before. They are planning on using this 360° footage as a jumping off point for an upcoming series of summer festival and club dates scattered across the East Coast that they have dubbed as the True Groove Summer Celebration.

About the record Doncker says, “great music transcends. It elevates and transports us to different places, to different states of mind. It opens the doors of healing and tolerance. Its mere existence makes us better! I’ve always wanted to be a part of that story. My participation in that far outweighs any so-called “career” I might have. No regrets or hesitation on my end as far as that’s concerned.”
