SECRETARY OF THE ARMY PATRICK J. MURPHY GUESTS ON THIS WEEK’S SHOW – seen on 195 stations nationwide.

April 27, 2016 – New York, NY – Hiring America, the nationally syndicated television series dedicated to helping U.S. Veterans find good jobs as they transition from the military — will have Secretary of the Army Patrick J. Murphy as a guest on this weekend’s show.

He was appointed Acting Secretary of the Army by President Obama on January 4th of this year.

The program — which is aired in 195 stations across the nation as well as the American Forces Network — offers veterans insight,  information and tips  on civilian job opportunities via interviews with  CEOs, business executives, human resource professionals, athletes and entertainers who’ve made successful transitions.

Secretary Murphy — who is a third generation veteran having served in two overseas deployments in Bosnia and Baghdad — will discuss the importance of supporting our veterans and their families as they move into civilian life.   He speaks from personal experience having transitioned from the military to careers as a lawyer,  television expert/ contributor to NBC-Universal and MSNBC — and as a member of the U.S. Congress from Pennsylvania.

“We’re thrilled to have The Secretary as our guest,” related Bill Deutch, creator and executive producer of Hiring America.  “The military community “ecosystem” — family, friends, concerned Americans and the vets themselves – will want to tune in to hear his insights and observations.”
