Toronto, ON – The launch of an innovative hockey app has gained much traction as official leagues begin to promote it on their websites. This new, matchmaking arrival is known as Puck App and pairs hockey teams with available goalies on demand in the same way that the Uber app connects drivers with riders.

As hockey players get older, they spend less and less time in the net, consequently creating a shortage of goaltenders. Recreational leagues struggle with this problem because being a goalie requires expensive equipment to keep them safe and many former goalies switch to players. Unlike many other sports, you can’t simply put another player in net to be your goalie. The perfect solution to this dilemma lies within Puck App – a promising application making sure Canadians can enjoy the game they love.

Puck App was launched by Niki Sawni to better serve hockey players in their time of need. As a long time hockey player, he’s providing a solution to teams by allowing them to find and rent goalies to avoid having to play without one. Some leagues even make teams pay a penalty if they don’t have a goalie. Puck App also gives hockey goalies the opportunity to earn some side income and cover their costs. After the game, users pay and rate the goalie using a five-star system with the option of leaving a tip. Goalies also have the opportunity of rating the hockey team to ensure compatible pairings for everyone.

When users download Puck App, connecting with a goaltender is simple. Puck matches goalies to hockey teams based on their skill level, ratings and availability. In major cities, goalies are typically found within a few minutes.  This app makes it a breeze for hockey teams to rent a goalie in Toronto and has quickly expanding across Canada with available goalies in select cities such as Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, and Winnipeg.

The goal is to make this app available all across Canada to give hockey players access to goalies in a variety of cities. Puck App is  available on iOS and Android and can be downloaded in the App Store or Google Play.

Niki Sawni takes pride in his creation to make renting a goalie in Toronto as easy and quick as possible. Alongside his team of developers, individuals can expect great new features from the Puck App and great support.
